So You Wanna Be  A Snake Dancer:
Snakes are beautiful and wonderful dancers and make great companions, but should never be treated as a prop.
SNAKES ARE NOT PROPS!!! They are collaborators and dance partners. I consider it a privlege and an honor to perform with these beautiful creatures. Most snakes that are great to dance with do not stay small for long~and they do grow fast! You will also need to consider if you can house a snake that can grow up to 6+ feet...and wether or not you can feed it mice and rats. Snakes should be handled daily, as to build a trusting relationship. Ever since I began owning snakes, I have learned so much from them. They are the most beautiful and spiritually connected animals that I have ever encountered! As a snake dancer, you have a huge responsibility not only to your serpentine friends, but also to the public at large. At any event in which my snakes are present, I do my best to educate the public on the spiritual aspects of the Divine Serpent and their connection to the Great Goddess. I respect those around me and never put my snakes or anyone else in harms way. If you are interested in learning more about Serpentine Mythology and Snake Dancing, I offer workshops and lectures to those interested in learning more about this wonderful interspecies collaboration. Please feel free to contact me at Zehara@aol.com.
